On the 15^th of January, the Dicastery held a meeting with the Italian Sports Centre (CSI), a Christian-inspired association recognised by the Italian Episcopal Conference, which brings together around 1.5 million registered athletes, and recently celebrated 80 years of activity.

The meeting was attended by the President of the CSI, Dr. Vittorio Bosio, the National Assistant, Fr. Luca Meacci, and the President's Secretary, Dr. Alessio Franchina.

In dialogue with Cardinal José Tolentino de Mendonça, they discussed the issue of sport today, the situation of religious assistance in sport, the pastoral role of oratories, and the planning of some joint initiatives.
