The ART CUT exhibition "Salida Interior" opens in Bogotá
"Exercises in Empathy" also reaches Bogotá, where on September 9, 2026 the exhibition Salida Interior (Interior Escape) was inaugurated at the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana (PUJ).
The exhibition opened with a brief presentation featuring the rector of PUJ, Fr. Luis Fernando Múnera Congote, S.J., who gave voice to the words of Cardinal José Tolentino de Mendonça, Prefect of the Dicastery for Culture and Education, alongside curators Nuno Crespo, Lucía Parias Rojas, and Sylvia Suárez Segura.
Exploring a new way of conceiving the relationship between the human and the non-human, the exhibition blends the visual and the sonic, with works ranging from photographs to video, sound installations, and drawings.
On view through October 22, Salida Interior brought together artists including: Alejandro Castillejo, Angélica Piedrahita, Apichatpong Weerasethakul, Claudia Andujar, Cromoactivismo, François Bucher, José Ismael Manco, Julieth Morales Aranda, Leonel Vasquez and Carolina Ortíz Céron, Mariana Caló and Francisco Queimadela, Nicolás Leyva Townsend, Sergio Maggioni (neunau).
