On 9 April, in the Sala Clementina of the Apostolic Palace, Pope Leo XIV will receive in audience the Olympic and Paralympic athletes of the Milan-Cortina 2026 Winter Olympics, who will be presented with the letter “Life in Abundance” on the value of sport, signed by the Holy Father on 6 February, specifically on the occasion of the Winter Games.
The event is organised by the Dicastery for Culture and Education, with the involvement of Athletica Vaticana and in collaboration with the Italian National Olympic Committee (CONI) and the Italian Paralympic Committee (CIP).
