Inspired by the Apostolic Letter signed by Pope Leo XIV and the Jubilee of the World of Education, the title "Drawing New Maps of Hope" has been chosen for the International Congress on Pastoral Care in Schools and Universities, to be held on 22 and 23 October 2026. 

Over the two days, key themes for the Holy See and the Holy Father’s teaching will be addressed, such as: inner life, digitalisation and peace. Following the opening address by Cardinal José Tolentino de Mendonça, Prefect of the Dicastery for Culture and Education, there will be sessions of listening, reflection and dialogue structured around thematic conferences:

• Cultivating Inner Life, moderated by Mons. Carlo Maria Polvani;
• Human Digital, moderated by Mons. Paul Tighe;
• Educating for Peace, moderated by Mons. Mathias Ambros.
