João Sarmento SJ. Jesuíta desde 2008, foi ordenado padre em 2020.
Licenciado em Escultura pela Faculdade de Belas Artes da Universidade do Porto e em Filosofia pela Universidade Católica Portuguesa, cursou Teologia na Pontifícia Universidade Gregoriana, em Roma, na Universidade de Comillas em Madrid e na Universidade Católica Portuguesa.
Foi professor convidado na ArCo - Centro de Arte e Comunicação Visual, e é atualmente diretor-artístico da Brotéria

João Sarmento SJ. A Jesuit since 2008, he became priest in 2020.
He graduated in Sculpture from the Faculty of Fine Arts at the University of Porto and in Philosophy from the Portuguese Catholic University; he studied Theology at the Pontifical Gregorian University in Rome, at the University of Comillas in Madrid and at the Portuguese Catholic University.
He was a visiting lecturer at ArCo – Centro de Arte e Comunicação Visual (Centre for Art and Visual Communication), and is currently the artistic director of Brotéria.
