The second ARTCUT event, Tramas de lo vivo (Entanglements of the Living), opened on September 3, 2026, in collaboration with the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile: an exhibition bringing together the artworks of twenty artists from 12 different countries.

The presentation featured remarks from the rector of UC-Chile, Prof. Juan Carlos de la Llera, representing Cardinal José Tolentino de Mendonça, Prefect of the Dicastery for Culture and Education, as well as curators Nuno Crespo and Alexia Tala.

Spread across four venues — Museo de Artes Visuales (MAVI UC), Parroquia de la Veracruz, Museo Chileno de Arte Precolombino, and Bodegón de Los Vilos — the exhibition explores the theme of empathy, presented as the ability to step outside the human world to view it from the perspective of other living forms, inviting visitors to rethink their relationship with animals, plants, and the surrounding environment.

On view through November 22, it presents works by Adán Vallecillo, Antonio Pichillá, Benvenuto Chavajay, Bernardo Oyarzún, Deborah Stratman, Detanico Lain, Donna Conlon, Glenda León, Hamish Fulton, Josefina Guilisasti, Katherine Jones RA, Korakrit Arunanondchai, Kuenan Tikuna, Nuno da Luz, Patricia Domínguez, Pilar Elgueta, Rivane Neuenschwander, Rosario López, Sofía Nercasseau and Ximena Garrido-Lecca.
