SABATO, 14 giugno
ore 8.30-13.00: Lo slancio della speranza: storie oltre il podio (Auditorium Augustinianum)
Il Dicastero per la Cultura e l’Educazione organizza una riflessione poliedrica sul legame tra “speranza e sport”, con la presenza di atleti di alto livello (olimpionico e paralimpionico), rappresentanti di organismi sportivi internazionali, accademici dello sport e operatori della pastorale dello sport. L’evento, che si terrà nell’Auditorium Augustinianum (Via Paolo VI, 25, Roma / Accanto alla Piazza San Pietro) è gratuito, ma richiede una iscrizione on-line obbligatoria, fino alla capacità massima dell’Auditorium (400 persone). 9.30: Ingresso del Santo Padre in Piazza San Pietro

10.50: Ritorno all’Auditorium Augustinianum

11.30: Apertura del Convegno (Auditorium Augustinianum)

14.00 - 16.00 Villagio sportivo (Piazza del Popolo)
Il cuore pulsante di Roma si trasforma in un villaggio sportivo vivace e inclusivo, con stand e attività aperte a tutti. Un’occasione unica per incontrare grandi campioni dello sport che racconteranno le loro esperienze e condivideranno momenti speciali con il pubblico.
17.00 Con il testimone della fiamma, in pellegrinaggio (Da Piazza Pia a Piazza San Pietro)
Un percorso simbolico e spirituale guidato dalla Croce degli Sportivi e dalla fiamma della speranza, per testimoniare pubblicamente la capacità dello sport di unire persone diverse. Il pellegrinaggio culminerà con l’emozionante passaggio della Porta Santa in Vaticano, un momento centrale e significativo del Giubileo.
21.30 La corsa infinita: cinema sotto le stelle (Piazza di San Cosimato – Trastevere)
Il film premio Oscar «Chariots of Fire» di Hugh Hudson illumina il cielo di Roma con una proiezione all’aperto organizzata dal Dicastero per la Cultura e l’Educazione insieme alla Fondazione Piccolo America, in occasione dell’undicesima edizione de "Il Cinema in Piazza". Un’opportunità per rivivere una storia leggendaria di passione, fede e sport.
DOMENICA, 15 giugno
10.00 Messa Giubilare degli Sportivi (Basilica di San Pietro)
Un momento intenso e significativo con la Santa Messa Giubilare dedicata agli sportivi e alle loro famiglie. Un invito a testimoniare il ruolo dello sport come veicolo di speranza e costruttore di una società più giusta e solidale, come evocato dal messaggio di Gaudium et Spes.

SATURDAY, 14 June
8 .30 a.m.-1 p.m.: The leap of hope: stories beyond the podium (Auditorium Augustinianum)
The Dicastery for Culture and Education is organising a multifaceted reflection on the link between ‘hope and sport’, with the presence of high-level international athletes (Olympic and Paralympic), representatives of international sports bodies, and academics and pastoral workers in the field of sports. The event, which will be held in the Auditorium Augustinianum (Via Paolo VI, 25, Rome / Next to St. Peter's Square) is free of charge, but on-line registration is mandatory, limited to the Auditorium's maximum capacity (400 people). 8.45: Exit to St. Peter's Square (2 minutes' walk)
9.30: Entrance of the Holy Father into St. Peter's Square
10.00: Jubilee Audience of the Holy Father
10.50: Return to the Augustinianum Auditorium (2 minutes' walk)
11.00: Coffee Break
11.30: Opening of the Conference (Auditorium Augustinianum)
13.30: Closing of the Conference
2 pm – 4 pm Sports Village (Piazza del Popolo)
The beating heart of Rome is transformed into a lively and inclusive sports village, with stands and activities open to all. A unique opportunity to meet great sports champions who will recount their experiences and share special moments with the public.
5 pm With the witness of the flame, on pilgrimage (From Piazza Pia to St. Peter's Square)
A symbolic and spiritual pilgrimage guided by the Cross of Athletes and the flame of hope, to publicly witness to the ability of sport to unite different people. The pilgrimage will culminate with the exciting passage through the Holy Door in the Vatican, a central and significant moment of the Jubilee.
9.30 pm The endless race: movie under the stars (Piazza di San Cosimato - Trastevere)
The Oscar-winning film Chariots of Fire by Hugh Hudson lights up the sky of Rome with an open-air screening organised by the Dicastery for Culture and Education together with the Fondazione Piccolo America, on the occasion of the 11th edition of ‘Il Cinema in Piazza’. An opportunity to relive a legendary story of passion, faith and sport.
SUNDAY, 15 June
10 am Jubilee Mass for Athletes (St. Peter's Basilica)
An intense and meaningful moment with the Jubilee Mass dedicated to sportsmen and women and their families. An invitation to witness the role of sport as a vehicle of hope and builder of a more just and united society, as evoked by the message of Gaudium et Spes.
