Vincitori e vincitrici del Concorso di Fotografia
Nell'ambito del concorso fotografico “Sport in Motion”, promosso dal Dicastero per la Cultura e l'Educazione e rivolto ai giovani di età inferiore ai 25 anni, che si è svolta tra novembre 2024 e aprile 2025, sono stati resi noti i vincitori. L'obiettivo generale del concorso era quello di unire tre parole non sempre vicine: gioventù - arte - sport. Per lo stesso motivo, il concorso vuole rileggere le sfide dello sport di oggi attraverso gli occhi dei giovani, quelli che hanno uno “sguardo di speranza” più limpido.
Il concorso ha avuto 49 iscrizioni valide, rappresentative dei cinque continenti per un totale di 81 foto in concorso. Le foto dovevano mettere a fuoco cinque temi (tratti dal Patto Educativo Globale e dal tema del Giubileo): sport e disabilità, sport e famiglia, sport ed ecologia, sport e politica, sport e speranza.
Per ogni categoria, la giuria dell'organizzazione ha scelto tre foto vincitrici. E tra le 15 foto vincitrici (3 per ogni categoria) è stata scelta la prima foto vincitrice del concorso.
Il primo vincitore è Isaac Burjiwa, che ha gareggiato nella categoria “sport e politica”, con il titolo della foto: “BLOOM – Where the War Fails”. La sua foto è stata scattata nel quartiere di Goma (Nord Kivu, Repubblica Democratica del Congo), e mostra i bambini che giocano a calcio con un pallone di fortuna fatto di sacchetti di plastica. Come descrive l’autore stesso nella legenda della foto, «la gioia di questi bambini si trasforma in speranza. Attraverso i loro semplici gesti, questi bambini ci ricordano che, in mezzo al caos, cresce ancora qualcosa: una luce invisibile, ma molto reale. Dove la guerra fallisce, l'infanzia fiorisce in pace, unità e umanità».

As part of the “Sport in Motion” photo contest, sponsored by the Department of Culture and Education and aimed at young people under the age of 25, which took place between November 2024 and April 2025, the winners were announced. The overall goal of the contest was to unite three words that are not always close: youth - art - sports. For the same reason, the contest aims to reread the challenges of today's sports through the eyes of young people, those who have a clearer “look of hope.”
The contest had 49 valid entries, representing the five continents for a total of 81 photos in the competition. The photos had to focus on five themes (drawn from the Global Education Pact and the Jubilee theme): sport and disability, sport and family, sport and ecology, sport and politics, and sport and hope.
For each category, the organization's jury chose three winning photos. And from the 15 winning photos (3 in each category), the first winning photo of the contest was chosen.
The first winner is Isaac Burjiwa, who competed in the category “sports and politics,” with the title of the photo, “BLOOM - Where the War Fails.” His photo was taken in the neighborhood of Goma (North Kivu, Democratic Republic of Congo), and shows children playing soccer with a makeshift ball made of plastic bags. As the author himself describes in the photo's caption, "the joy of these children is transformed into hope. Through their simple gestures, these children remind us that in the midst of chaos, something still grows: an invisible, but very real light. Where war fails, childhood flourishes in peace, unity and humanity."
