Il Dicastero per la Cultura e l'Educazione, è lieto di presentare il prossimo evento, Congresso Internazionale sulla pastorale scolastica e universitaria, che si terrà il 22 e il 23 ottobre 2026, in Vaticano. Su impulso della Lettera Apostolica firmata da Papa Leone XIV e del Giubileo del Mondo Educativo, il titolo scelto è Disegnare Nuove Mappe di Speranza. 

Durante le due giornate si affronteranno tematiche centrali per la Santa Sede e per il magistero del Santo Padre quali: l'interiorità, la digitalizzazione e la pace.

Dopo i saluti iniziali del cardinale José Tolentino de Mendonça, prefetto del Dicastero per la Cultura e l'Educazione, seguiranno momenti di ascolto, riflessione e dialogo strutturati in conferenze di orizzonte:

• Coltivare l'interiorità, moderato da S.E. Mons. Carlo Maria Polvani;

• Digitale umano, moderato da S.E. Mons. Paul Tighe; 

• Educare alla pace, moderato da Mons. Matthias Ambros;

The Dicastery for Culture and Education is pleased to present its forthcoming event, the International Congress on Pastoral Care in School and Universities, to be held on 22 and 23 October 2026 at the Vatican. Inspired by the Apostolic Letter signed by Pope Leo XIV and the Jubilee of the World of Education, the chosen title is "Drawing New Maps of Hope".

Over the course of the two days, the Congress will address themes central to the Holy See and the Holy Father’s magisterium, such as: interiority, digitalisation and peace.

Following the opening address by Cardinal José Tolentino de Mendonça, Prefect of the Dicastery for Culture and Education, there will be sessions of listening, reflection and dialogue structured around thematic conferences:

• Cultivating Interiority, moderated by His Excellency Monsignor Carlo Maria Polvani;
• The Human Digital, moderated by His Excellency Monsignor Paul Tighe;
• Educating for Peace, moderated by Monsignor Matthias Ambros;

To register for the International Congress on School and University Pastoral Care, a registration fee is necessary.
